KC3 final draft

Humans are the main contributors to ocean ecosystem, but humans aren’t the only things that are polluting the ocean, nature is also a factor. The ocean has changed over the years, polluted runoff, sea level rising, over fishing, and illegal dumping.

Polluted runoff is the greatest threat to Hawaii surface and ground water quality. Polluted runoff results when storm water or irrigation water Moves pollutants off the land from farms, urban areas and construction sites into Hawaii streams and coastal waters. Polluted runoff can contribute greatly to ocean pollution because the chemicals that the runoff collects can flow into oceans and stream that can kill wild life and the environment

Sea level rise caused by melting sea ice and thermal expansion of the oceans could also cause problems for some coral reefs by making them too deep to receive a reasonable amount of sunlight which means that the coral would die. There like natures under water plants they still need sunlight in order to survive. But what global flooding does is that it makes the ocean levels so high that the coral reef cant even get any sunlight because the sun rays can go so far in from the surface that it doesn’t reach which means the coral reefs cant get the proper amount of sunlight.

The need for seafood has risen which has allowed for fishing to become much more effective, allowing fishermen to catch at a much higher rate.  At such a high rate, the fish cannot keep reproducing as fast as the fishermen fish.  In 1900 there were at least six times more fish in our oceans than there are now. The results for overfishing include the destruction of ecosystems, lack of catch for fishermen.  Research on the world’s fisheries shows that 52% of fish stocks, and 1% is recovering from extinction.  Approximately 90% of the large predatory fish stocks are already extinct, which means the balance of the fish pollution can largely affect the ocean ecosystem that can lead to ocean depilation.

The amount of illegal dumping has affected the ocean in a bigger way than any ocean pollutant that I have talked about in this essay. Oils that come from electricity plants are floating in the water which it increase the high of the ocean which becomes the rise of sea level which. The garbage that come from the nearby park can float wanderly until fishes come and eat the garbage from the illegal dumping that can throw off the balance of the fish population because they overfish makes the population number for fish go down the drain.

the ocean ecosystem can be destroyed in a number of years so we need to help out and

Querencina Final Draft.

As I came out of the dugout, the worries of my troubled past zips past me like a fastball coming from the pitcher on the mound. The cheers of the thousands of fans echo in the crowded stadium as my team takes the field. As we jog out to the field I thought to myself was that right here, this place is a place where I can be myself, because everyone is treated equally. There are no favorites.  All the expectations are true for all.  There's only equality and a bat, ball, glove, and your team. It feels welcoming once I walk out my car door; the friendly parents of my teammates greet me on and off to the field.
The sound of my coaches voice makes me shiver in fear, as he repeatedly tells me “it makes you tougher Isaiah, suck it up”. The sight of a tough guy attitude with tobacco container in hand spitting constantly, sunglass always on, the impression of the hulk instills fear in my mind. I see my coach three time a week, three hours a day, hitting in the cage until your fingers feel numb. As I look down the long line for the water jug, I hear the him saying, "What's the scoop? or "Chief!" His high pitch chuckle rings in my ears as he tell us what to do,
Piles of newly eaten sunflower seeds fill the floor of the dugout. Dust and dirt fly here and there. The garbage can fills-up with Gatorade cups. Metal cleats drag out of the dugout. The voice of the umpire calls out "Safe","Out","Strike THREE!"  When someone asks about my special place these images flood my mind and I smile.

My special place draft

As I came out of the dugout my worries of my troubled past zips past me like a fastball coming from the pitcher on the mound, the cheers of the thousands of fans echo in the crowded stadium as me my team take the field. As we jogged out to the field I thought to myself was that this place right is a place where I can be myself, because every one is treated equally, this special place you need to earn your right to be there. It’s not a place that anyone can come, I need to work hard and play hard to have this special place. This special place is the baseball field. It feels welcoming once I walk out my car door; the friendly parents of my teammates greet me on and off the field. This special place teaches me to take care about my team before myself. The sound of my coaches voice makes me shiver in fear, as he tells me “it makes you tougher Isaiah, suck it up”.The sound of my coaches voice makes me feel like home because that who i see every day.

There were piles of newly eaten sunflower seeds fill the floor of the dugout. Dirt flies here and there even in people water cups. There crack of the bats makes me remember from the memories of the broken cheek bone from a baseball too the Time we where in the championships game twice in one tournament. The sound of my teams cheering me on makes me feel like we are a family, nothing can break us apart. This is my special place and no one can take this place from me or from anyone. The feeling of my special can't be broken
